Michelle Provitola » "THE BEAUTY Of COURAGE"

The "BEAUTY Of COURAGE" was painted during a time when I was struggling with some eyesight changes and neurological difficulties.  With stubborn strength, I pushed my way through making this beautiful Lion in all it's texture and vibrant colors, all  while focusing on renewing my spiritual strength.  I was determined to make a beautiful oil painting despite the fear of the vast unknown. Would I lose my eyesight? Would I have long term difficulties with my sight in the future?

Ultimate Peace came when I put my complete trust in God and the Universe knowing that no matter what the outcome, I am meant to thrive and create Beauty in this life. I found STRENGTH, COURAGE and a renewed FAITH in the midst of this adversity. So to sum up, this Lion represents for me, the Courage to stand strong no matter what unknown difficulties this life brings at us. This quote is so appropriate that I will end with this.

“COURAGE doesn’t always ROAR. Sometimes it is the quiet at the end of the day that says, I’ll try again TOMORROW ” Author Unknown. Hence there is…“BEAUTY In COURAGE”.
